Warm Weather Shipping

We do not use synthetic stabilizers or waxes in our Whipped Body butters or Whipped Shea butters.

As a result, our natural products are sensitive to temperature changes.

During very warm weather, our handmade Whipped body butters and Whipped Shea butters may soften or even melt in transit as they sit in warm mail trucks, mailboxes, or on front porches.

Since melting is a natural reaction to heat and we have no control over the conditions during transit or delivery, please understand that we cannot be responsible for melted products. Melting does not effect the quality of our products only the consistency of the texture.

*Shipping to Post Office Boxes are suggested for their cooler temperatures that help stabilize our products*

***Note***

*Post Office Box shipping sometimes arrives faster, however, we can not guarantee the timeliness of deliveries based on this information.

What To Do About Melting:

  • Refrigerate the product and it will solidify.
  • To recreate a slightly whipped texture, stir briskly with a hand held mixer, whisk, or fork after it has solidified.
  • Allow the product to sit in a cool place and it will solidify without refrigeration. The texture will be more smooth.
  • Since our whipping technique adds volume to the product, it is more light and fluffy causing the container to no longer appear full. The product does not lose quality and has been tested and is extremely safe to use. Once it solidifies it will become more like a body balm.

During the months of May through September, which are some of the warmest months, we advise our customers to be aware of the shipping conditions. You can always stock up on your butters during the cooler months, however that is not always feasible. We value your business and hope that this clears up any shipping concerns during the warmer months!

Sincerely,
